Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, hotel check-in, city sightseeing, museum visit, shopping, dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Drive to Tariat village (480 km) in Arkhangai province, stopping at the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes for optional camel riding. Picnic lunch en route. Check-in at Ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 3: Visit Taikhar Rock, hear its legendary stories, and drive to Tariat Soum (170 km). Check fishing permits, enjoy a half-day fishing session in a scenic river canyon. Overnight at Ger camp. (B+L+D)

Days 4–7: Full days of fishing at 2–3 different rivers and lakes in Central Mongolia, enjoying riverside picnics. Photograph yaks, nature, and visit local herder families. (B+L+D)

Day 8: Drift fishing on a big river, picnic lunch, and exploration of new fishing spots. (B+L+D)

Day 9: Drive to Karakorum, once the capital of the Great Mongol Empire. Visit the Erdenezuu Monastery and explore the historic town. Overnight at Ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 10: Full day of fishing on a river near Karakorum. Overnight at Ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Return to Ulaanbaatar, check-in at your hotel, lunch, rest, and farewell dinner to share trip feedback and stories. (B+L+D)

Day 12: Departure from Ulaanbaatar. (B)
